The Punjab Public Service Commission invites Online Applications forms from eligible Candidates for recruitment to 256 posts of Medical Officers (General)in the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt of Punjab. Interested Candidates may apply Online before 10th February, 2014.

Eligibility Criteria for Medical Officers :

Age limit : Candidates age should be between 18 years to 38 years as on 01/01/2014.

Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess M.B.B.S and registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India. Candidates should have Knowledge of Punjabi Language of Matriculation Standard or its equivalent.

Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 - Rs. 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 + NPA + Allowances.

Selection Process : Selection will be based on Competitive Examination & viva voce (Interview). The PPSC shall hold a competitive Examination on 02nd march, 2014.

How to Apply : Candidates can apply by filling Online Application form, a link of which is available on the website of the Punjab PSC www.ppsc.gov.in by 10th Feb, 2014. After submitting Online application , candidates need to take print out of dully filled online application form and along with copy of Bank Challan and relevant documents submit it to the office of Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission.
