UPSC Engineering Services Exam Category -I, II, III, IV - Apply online

UPSC will hold a combined competitive Examination for recruitment to the 582 posts. UPSC will conduct Engineering Services Examination 2014 Admit Card, Syllabus, Date sheet Result in the trades of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering on 20th June, 2014. UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2014 Details :

Category I - Civil Engineering
Category II – Mechanical Engineering
Category III – Electrical Engineering
Category IV - Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 21 years to 30 years as on 01.01.2014 i.e born not earlier than 01-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-1993.

Minimum Eligibility for appearing in Engineering services Exam : Candidates must possess a Degree in Engineering from a reputed University and have passed sections A & B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) or obtained a Degree/ Diploma in Engineering from foreign University or passed Graduate Membership Exam of the Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (India) or passed Associate Membership Exam Part II & III/ sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society or passed Graduate Membership Exam of the Institute of Electronics & Radio Engineers, London held after 1959.

Selection Process : Selection will be done on the basis of performance in written test and Interview.

Union Public Service Commission will hold a competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and Junior Hydro geologist. 3. For Chemist Posts : M.Sc in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from an University.
4. For Junior Hydro-geologist Posts : Masters Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from university.

Selection process : Selection will be based on written test, Interview /personality test.
