Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has recently advertised notification for filling up of the 26 vacancies of Professor & Associate Professor posts in various subjects. Candidates may apply Online from 05th march, 2014 to 05th April, 2014. More detailed information is mentioned below.

1. Professor: 10 posts
2. Associate Professor: 16 posts
Age Limit : Candidates who want to apply for Professor post, their age should be below 50 years and 55 years for Professor posts as on 01.01.2015.

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have completed Degree in Ayurved from University established by law in India or a statutory Board/ Faculty/ Examining body with teaching experience of 5/ 10 year’s in concerned subject for both posts.

Application Fee :
1. General/ Creamy layer BC/ Special Backward candidates need to pay Rs. 350/-.
2. Rajasthan Non Creamy layer BC/ Special Backward Candidates need to pay Rs. 250/-.
3. PH and Rajasthan SC/ ST Candidates need to pay Rs. 150/-.

Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of
Scrutiny test/ Interview.

RPSC Recruitment 2014 www.rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in Apply Online for Professor and Associate Professor Posts, Rajasthan Public Service Commission has issued a latest recruitment notification No.09/2013-14 and invites online application forms for the teaching posts i.e., Professor and Associate Professor to fill up 26 vacancies in various departments. All eligible candidates should apply online before last date : 5th April 2014.

Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification :
(A) A degree in Ayurved from a University established by law in India or a statutory Board/Faculty/Examining body or Indian medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970; and
(B) A Postgraduate Qualification in the subject/specialty concerned included in the Schedule to Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970;

Experience :
Professor : Total teaching experience of 10 years’ in concerned subject is necessary out of which there should be 5 years teaching experience as Reader/Associate Professor in concerned subject
Associate Professor : Teaching experience of 5 years’ in concerned subject (Reader will be treated as Associate Professor).

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2015) : The maximum age limit for various posts is given below
Professor : Not more than 55 years
Associate Professor : Not more than 50 years

Scale of Pay :
Professor : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.6800/-
Associate Professor : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.6600/-

Selection Procedure : Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and interview.
