Educational Qualification :
(A) A degree in Ayurved from a University established by law in India or a statutory Board/Faculty/Examining body or Indian medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970; and
(B) A Postgraduate Qualification in the subject/specialty concerned included in the Schedule to Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970;
Experience :
Professor : Total teaching experience of 10 years’ in concerned subject is necessary out of which there should be 5 years teaching experience as Reader/Associate Professor in concerned subject
Associate Professor : Teaching experience of 5 years’ in concerned subject (Reader will be treated as Associate Professor).
Age Limit (As on 01.01.2015) : The maximum age limit for various posts is given below
Professor : Not more than 55 years
Associate Professor : Not more than 50 years
Scale of Pay :
Professor : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.6800/-
Associate Professor : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.6600/-
Selection Procedure : Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and interview.
