Name of Exam : UPSC Indian Forest Service Exam 2014

Eligibility Criteria :
Age limit : Candidates age should be between 21 years to 32 years as on 01st August, 2014. , i.e must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1982 & not earlier than 01-08-1993.
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have completed Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics & Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
Selection Process : The Indian Forest Service Examination will consist of two successive stages
1. Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, (AND)
2. Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service.
Application Fee :
1. General/OBC Candidates would required to remit the amount of Rs. 100/-.
2. No fees for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
How to Apply : Interested Candidates must apply through online only from UPSC Online portal www.upsconline.nic.in on or before 30th June, 2014.
