Educational Qualification : B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent / Ph.D.
Age Limit (As on 27.03.2014) : The maximum age limit for all posts is as given below :-
1. Professors not more than 54 years.
2. Associate Professor not more than 50 years.
3. Assistant Professor not more than 35 years.
Relaxation in age limit for the Reserve category candidates will be as per the Govt. of Maharashtra norms.
Scale of Pay :
Professor : Rs 37400-67000+AGP Rs.10000
Associate Professor : Rs 37400-67000+AGP Rs.9000
Assistant Professor : Rs15600-39100+AGP Rs.6000
Selection Procedure : Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of performance in written test, presentation and Interview.
Application Fee :
For Open category candidates : Rs.500/-
For Backward Class category candidates : Rs.300/-
The application fee is to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of "“Director, VJTI, Matunga, Mumbai” payable at Mumbai.
