M. Phil. or Master’s degree in Science in a concerned field 6.5 /60%
Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant area 6.5 /60%
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from IIT 7.0
Bachelor’s degree in a related field in Engineering/Technology (Excluding IITs/ IISc) in a relevant branch 8.0 /75%
PhD in Humanities and Social Sciences
M. Phil. or Master’s degree in Arts/Commerce/Science in a specified branch 55%
Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Design in a concerned area 6.5 /60%
Bachelor’s degree from an IIT in relevant subjects 7.0.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (Excluding IITs/IISc) with specified subjects 7.5 /80%
Relaxation for Reserved Category
Aspirants who belong to SC/ST categories will get 5 percent or 0.5 CPI relaxation in eligibility criteria.
Application Fee
General/OBC Candidates: Rs.300/-
SC/ST/PD/Female Aspirants: Rs.150/-
Mode of Payment
The requisite Fee can be paid in the shape of demand draft drawn in any nationalized bank and payable at Patna in favour of IIT Patna.
Selection Process
Applicants will be screened through Written Test/Interview.
