Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not crossed the age of 30 years as on 22-11-2013.
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have obtained the degree of B.A,B.Sc or B.Com or any other Bachelor degree from Madras University or equivalent from a recognized University.
Selection Process :
1. For Personal Asst : Written Examination, Skill test and Oral Test.
2. For Asst & Computer operator : Written Examination and Oral test.
3. For Typist : Written Examination & Skill test.
Pay Scale :
1. For post no. 1 : Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
2. For post no. 2 : Rs. 9,300 - 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/-
3. For post no. 3 : Rs. 5,200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2600/-
4. For post no. 4 : Rs. 5,200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-
5. For post no. 5 : Rs. 5200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-.
Examination Fee :
1. Candidates need to pay Rs. 150 for written examination.
2. Candidates need to pay Rs. 50 for Skill test.
3. Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs. 50 towards application cost.
How to Apply : Candidates should apply only through ONLINE in the commission's website www.tnpsc.gov.in or in www.tnpscexams.net latest by 20th December, 2013. After applying online, candidates have to keep system generated application form for future use.
