Indian Air Force is ready to recruit eligible candidates as officers with AFCAT 02/13. There are three branches of IAF in which officers will take charge. These three branches are Flying, Technical and Ground Duty branches. An officer of Indian Air Force gets handsome salary and good amount of allowances along with great respect in the society.
Air Force Common Admission Test will be held by IAF authorities to shortlist candidates for SSB interviews conducted in various Air Force Selection Boards. SSB interviews are the most crucial for a candidate to become an officer in Indian Air Force.
Eligibility criteria of AFCAT 02/2013
Applicant should be male or female Indian citizen.Candidates should be unmarried.
Applicants who want to apply for Flying branch course should be aged between 19 to 23 years.
Applicants who want to become technical officers of Indian Air Force should be aged between 18 to 28 years.
Candidates who are applying for ground duty branch should be aged between 20 to 27 years which varies according to their educational qualification.
