IIM, Kozhikode was conducted CAT 2012 in 61 centers across 36 cities from October 11 to November 6, 2012. CAT 2012 results release is scheduled on January 9 2013. More than 2.14 lakh IIMs aspirants will be getting CAT 2012 results on January 9 when the IIMs, along with test provider Prometric, announce the CAT results 2012. This year the percentage of female candidates appear in CAT 2012 exam went up by one per cent to 28 per cent. New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune were the cities in which the highest number of candidates took the test.

For CAT results 2012, all aspirants should log on to the CAT website www.catiim.in from January 9 for the CAT results. Candidates will be required to enter their CAT registration number and email address in order to access the site.

CAT 2012 convener urged candidates to avoid rushing on the first day. Heavier traffic on the first day will slow down the website access and candidates are advised to be patient. They may try again later if they find the site to be slow. They have also been advised to retain a printed copy of their results. CAT 2012 results can be accessed until December 31, 2013. More information like shortlisted by IIMs for interviews, will be shared by the IIMs after the CAT 2012 results are declared on 9 January 2013.
