Assam: Assam Teachers Eligibility Test is conducting on 8th February 2014. Assam Higher Secondary Education Council is conducting this examination. For Lower Primary i.e. 1st level and for Higher Secondary i.e. 2nd level examinations lakhs of candidates were appearing. Both Lower Primary and Second primary examinations were conducting in objective type Questions. For both these examinations time duration given is only 2.30 hours.
Assam TET Examination is conducting in Karbi, Manipuri, Nepali, Hmar, Garo, Hindi and Bangla languages. Syllabus that covers this TET examination is Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Language I (medium of instruction), Language II (Chosen from a list other than Language I) and Child development and pedagogy. Paper I i.e. Lower Primary examinations conducts to become teachers for Class I to Class V in Assam Primary School. Paper II i.e. Second Primary Examination conducts to become teachers for Class VI to Class VIII in Assam Upper primary School. Admit cards for this examination released.
