State-wise Vacancies Details:
1. Maharashtra: 184 posts
2. Gujarat: 95 posts
3. Andhra Pradesh: 199 posts
4. Tamilnadu: 165 posts
5. karnataka: 115 posts
6. Kerala: 61 posts
Age Limit : Candidate's age should be between 18 yrs to 23 yrs.
For Determining Age limit, cutoff date would be 01-08-2012.
Educational Qualifications : Candidates should be Matriculation (10th) or equivalent pass outs from any Recognised Board and candidates also have "Transport vehicle" driving Licence.

Application Fees :
1. General & OBC Candidates need to pay Rs. 50/-.
2. SC/ST/Female Candidates are free from payment of Application fee.
Note : Fees is to be deposited in form of crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of “The Deputy Inspector General of Police”.
Selection process : Selections will be done on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standards Test,Written Test, Trade Test, Medical Exam and Document Verification.
How to apply : Candidates can apply for this post only through Offline mode. Candidates have to fill the application form in all respects , then superscribe“Application for the Post of Constable (Tech & Trade) in CRPF – 2012” on the top of envelope and along with photocopies of necessary documents/Certificates send it to according to their respective state.
