The university syndicate has decided to fill the vacant permanent faculty posts in the university. "There has been no recruitment in the last few years. But now we will be filing 90 teaching posts, of which 40 posts will be re-notified," said university registrar A Ramachandran. 

The last recruitment to permanent posts was done in 2006. There has been no other major recruitment for permanent posts in the 24 departments of the university in the last eight years. 

In 2008-2009, a notification was issued inviting applications for permanent teaching posts in the university. However, it has been kept in abeyance. As a result, the university employs faculty on an ad hoc basis for six months or a year.

3. Knowledge of Braille/experience of working with visually impaired

Degree/Diploma in Special Education
Experience of working in any Braille press

Job Description- The person will read books for visually impaired, record talking books, edit/type English and Hindi books.

5. Carer - 02 post at consolidated salary of Rs. 5000/- p.m

Job description: Assist in operation o f the EOC bus and help students with disabilities in using the bus service, Assist in office work, Help PWDs especially mobility impaired in moving around & use the Resource Centre services

Essential qualification:
The candidate should have passed Class X from recognized board.

Desirable: Experience of working with persons with disabilities and pass in Class XII
