Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU), Chennai has invited applications for recruitment for office assistant. TNOU was established by an Act (No.27 of 2002) of the Legislative Assembly of the government of Tamil Nadu to benefit those who have been deprived of or denied access to higher education for various reasons.

Name of the Posts: Office Assistant

Pay Scale:

INR Rs.4800-10000 + Grade Pay Rs.1300/-

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Not more than 33 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for the applicants from the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, physically handicapped and other special categories in accordance with the orders issued by the central government from time-to-time.

Education Qualification: Candidates should have passed Standard 8 or hold equivalent qualification from a recognised board/university.

Selection Procedure: A written test, skill test and an interview would be conducted to shortlist candidates.

How to apply: Candidates can send their applications along with attested copies of qualification certificates/mark sheets, demand draft and other relevant documents to 'The Office of the Registrar, Tamil Nadu Open University, No. 577 Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai - 600015.'
