SSC-Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil & Electrical) Exam 2014

Criteria to Apply

Age Criteria (as on the 01-01-2014)
Applicant should have at least 18 years which is minimum age criteria and maximum 27 years.
Age relaxation will be granted to selected reserved applicants as per government rules.

Required Qualification
Applicants should have Graduate Degree or Diploma in Engineering from any recognized university or college.
Applicant’s streams should be Civil, Electrical and Mechanical.

Basic pay + Grade pay

Applicants pay scale will be Rs. 9,300/- to 34,800/- + GP Rs. 4,200/-

Process of Hiring
Applicants will have to face rounds i.e. written test and personal interview.
This is the mode of selection of applicants who perform best in these rounds.

Application Fee
Candidates belonging to general category need to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee
Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PH, and Ex. Servicemen are exempted from paying application fee

Applicants first of all go through SSC official website.

There you will see two parts that is Part I and Part II.
Applicants have to firstly fill form of Part I with correct detail.
After filling part I applicants you will get system generated password and registration no.
Use these details to fill Part II form
Upload your passport size photographs and signature.
Applicants get confirmation mail in their mailbox.

SSC Stenographer Grade C Exam Notification and Application form

Selection Method : Candidates will be appointed on Stenographer post on the basis of marks obtained in Competitive written examination.

Syllabus of Stenographer exam :
1. General Awareness : 100 marks
2. Comprehension and Writing Ability of english Language : 100 marks

Age Limit :
1. For Engineering Asst posts , Candidates max age should be 30 yrs .

Educational Qualification : 
1. For Engineering Asst, Candidates should be 03 yrs Diploma in Radio Telecommunication/Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute with knowledge of wireless.

2. For Technician posts, Candidates must possess 10 + 2 pass from a recognized Board, Diploma of at least 2 yrs duration in Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute .

1. General and OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 200 in the form of Challan.
