Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Candidates age should not be more than 45 years as on 01/01/2014. This age limit is relaxable up to a maximum of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed 12th Standard Examination from a recognized Board or its equivalent.
Selection process : Candidates have to appear in the written Examination for selection.
SSC Lower Grade Departmental Examination Schedule :Exam will be held in 2 parts
1. Part I : Short Essay (100 marks of 1 hour 30 minutes)
2. Part II : Language (50 marks) & General Knowledge (50 marks) (2 hours)
