Vacancy Details
Total no. of Post: 08
Name of post: Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee)
Pay scale: 1st year (Rs. 8600/-) and 2nd years (Rs.10000/- ). During the period of 2 year training, trainees will also get Medical facility for self, spouse and dependent children. Leave etc will be as per the Rules of the Company. After successful completion of training period, candidates will be regularized in the regular grade/pay scale of Rs.8630-3%-12080/-(S-1).
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized institution or university with minimum 50% marks. Should possess valid Driving License for Heavy Motor Vehicles.
Age limit: Minimum 18 yrs. & Maximum 28 yrs. as on 01.02.2014
Selection Procedure: For the post of Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee), eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Written Test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical ability test (PAT)/ driving test and interview. Information for written test, physical ability test/ driving test and interview will be provided in our website www.sail.co.in .
Application fee: 150/- as application and processing fee for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwD/departmental candidates to possess Pay in Slip of Rs. 50/- only as processing fee. The Pay in Slip is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details.
Mode of Payment: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application and processing fee, in a specially opened account No. 32549519300 at Sector -1 Branch, Bhilai, on behalf of BSP, SAIL. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “SBI Challan” which is available on the Application Registration Portal.
How to Apply
Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online through SAIL’s website: www.sail.co.in (Career with sail)from 10.02.2014 – 09.03.2014. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Before registering their applications on the website the candidates should possess Valid e-mail ID, which should remain valid for at least one year, Pay in Slip (SBI Challan), latest passport size photograph as well as photograph of signature in igital form (.jpg or .jpeg only of less than 500 kb size) for uploading with the application form etc.
After applying online, the candidate is required to download the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details.Important Links
