PSTET 2014

The Department of School Education,Government of Punjab has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET 2014) to the SCERT, Punjab that is held on 28th Dec, 2013. PSTET 2014 Examination is conducting for appointing the candidates on Teacher post in Primary Stage(Class I-V) and Elementary Stage (Class VI-VIII).

Today, Lakh of candidates are appearing in PSTET 2014 Paper-I & Paper-II parts that will be off multiple choice Questions. As Exam will over, candidates will have curiosity to match their answer with PSTET 2014 answer key.

SCERT will issue PSTET 2014 Exam Answer key on its official website www.tetpunjab.com on 30th Dec, 2013. PSTET answer key and cutoff marks will be available soon on official website of Punjab TET.

Answer keys shall be made available to the candidates on the website within two days after the conducting the examination, so that the candidates can evaluate themselves. The actual result will be displayed on website as per mentioned dates.

Candidates who scores 60% or more in the PSTET Exam will be considered as PSTET Pass.

Punjab Government is going to conduct the Punjab Teachers Eligibility Test (PSTET) for those candidates who want to become Teachers of Class I-V and Class VI - VIII in the state of punjab. All the candidates are informed that TET exam is necessary for all the B.Ed qualified candidates for appointing as Teacher in govt or private schools. Eligibility Criteria for Punjab TET 2013 :
1. For class I-V : Candidates should be Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) pass out with min. 45% marks.
2. For Calss VI-VIII : Candidates should have B.A/B.Sc Degree with min. 45 % marks.

Candidates should be passed/appearing in B.Ed/Senior secondary with at least 50% marks for both sections.

PSTET 2013 Exam pattern :
PSTET 2013 will be conducted in 2 parts i.e Paper I & Paper II .
1. Paper I will be held for candidates who want to becometeachers of class I - V .
2. Paper II will be held for Candidates who want to becometeachers of class VI - VIII.

Duration of Examination : One and a Half hours.
