The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), Kolkata, has invited applications for recruitment from eligible and interested candidates for the posts of Executive Director, Deputy General Manager and Deputy Company Secretary.

WBPDCL is owned by the Government of West Bengal with the goal to carry on interalia the business of electric power generation and supply in the state. The main thermal power plants under WBPDCL are in Kolaghat, Bakreswar, Sagardighi, Santaldih,and Bandel.

Executive Director (Fuel Management) - 1 Post
Deputy General Manager (IT) - 1 Post

Pay Scale:

For Post I - Rs 37,400 to Rs 67,000 with grade pay of Rs 10,000 per month.
For Post II, III & IV- Rs 37,400 to Rs 67,000 with grade pay of Rs 8,700 per month.
For Post IV - Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 with Rs 7,600 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

The maximum age of the applicant must be 58 years and minimum must be 40 years.

Educational Qualification:

B.Tech, B.E. in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Mining, MBA in relevant fields.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and an interview.

admissions PG Diploma in Mass Communication at Jadavpur University,  Applications are invited by Jadavpur University in Kolkata for the admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication offered by the Dept. of Adult, continuing education and extension. The course duration is 1 year.
