Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh invites Online applications from Indian citizens for filling up the 568 vacancies of Sister, Junior Technician and Operation Theater Assistant posts on regular basis. Eligible Candidates may fill Online Application form from 25th June to 28th July, 2014. More detailed information is mentioned below.

Pay Scale :
1. Ssiter Grade-II : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-.
2. Jr. Technician : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-.
3. Operator Theatre Assistant : Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200 + Grade pay Rs. 2800-.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification :
1. For Sister post : Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board/ university, certificate in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized institution or equivalent.
2. For Jr. Technician (lab) : B.Sc Medical Lab Technology.
3. For Jr. Technician (X-Ray) : B.Sc Medical Technology (X-Ray)/ B.Sc Medical Technology Radiology.
4. For operation Theatre Asst : B.Sc Medical Technology (Operation Theatre/ Anaesthesia)

Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years but not crossed the age of 30 years as on last date of receipt of applications..

Age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PH candidates & others will be applicable as per rules.

Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Online Exam and Scrutiny.

Application Fee :
1. Unreserved Candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000/-.
2. SC/ST Candidates need to pay Rs. 500 only.
