Dedicated to the furtherance of competent research and development in the firmament of Electronic Materials, the Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) functions as an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Information Technology (MIT), Govt. of India. Besides augmenting core competence, C-MET envisions attainment of self-sufficiency in the sphere of Electronic materials, components and devices to cater to India’s strategic- and industrial- applications, exploiting indigenous resources of raw materials.

C-MET at a Glance
Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology is a Scientific Society Registered under Ministry of Information Technology, with the main objective to establish technology strength in electronics materials for the present and future industrial requirement. Presently C-MET has three laboratories at Hyderabad, Pune and Thrissur. The high purity materials are the basic building blocks of electronics technology and therefore C-MET, Hyderabad is involved in development as well as scaling up of operations for production of high purity metals, alloys, special dopants and semiconductor materials.

The gamut of operations required in purification process includes hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, vacuum metallurgy, Electro-metallurgy, zone refining, electron beam melting etc. It also requires very advanced methods of analysing the impurities in ppm/ppb level employing emission spectrography, atomic absorption spectrometry, mass spectro-metry etc. To utilise the national mineral resources in the most optimum manner,

With its administrative headquarters at Pune, C-MET distributes its research activities between its three laboratories at Pune, Hyderabad and Thrissur with the above-mentioned specific research areas earmarked for each of these three laboratories. The administration and management of the Society are vested with a Governing Council, a Steering Committee and an Executive Committee.

C-MET, Pune is engaged in development of Thick Film Materials for hybrids and Surface mounted devices, speciality polymers likephotoresists, polymides and conducting polymers, nano optical glass ceramics and basic chemicals.

C-MET, Hyderabad plans to take-up development activities for process technologies for high purity metals like Indium, Gold, Tantalum, Arsenic, Gallium, Bismuth, Tellurium, Selenium, Cadmium etc.

C-MET, Thrissur is working on preparation of fine powders of electronic ceramics like titanates, Zirconates, Alumina and Ferits and their procesing to make substrates, MLC's, chip inductors etc. using high tech ceramic processing.

RESULT NOTIFICATION

1. It is hereby notified that on the basis of the results of the Written Examination held on 09/06/2012 to the post of  LECTURERS IN GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGES IN A.P COLLEGIATE EDUCATION SERVICE  the candidates with the following Register Numbers  have been provisionally picked up for the ORAL TEST (Interview), subject to fulfilling the conditions regarding eligibility and other aspects to the recruitment and subject to outcome of Court Cases, if any
2. The candidates are required to produce the Original Certificates along with one set of copies relating to Age (SSC), Qualifications, Community (Integrated), latest Creamy Layer. Exemption certificate in case of BCs as per G.O.Ms.No. 3 BC(W) (C2) Dept. dt. 04/04/2006 (prescribed format hosted on website), Certificate relating to claim of age relaxation, and other relevant certificates, at the time of verification of documents, failing which they will not be admitted for interview. No extension of time will be given for production of original certificates for any reason, whatsoever. 
3. The verification of the certificates will be held at 8.00AM in the Commission’s Office from 31/10/2012. Only eligible candidates will be allowed for the Oral Test to be held at 10.30AM on the same  day. The Interview schedule will be placed in the Website separately. The candidates should download the Interview Call letter (Memo), Revised Vacancy Position, Check lists, Attestation Forms and other relevant forms from the Commission’s website www.apspsc.gov.in from 20/10/2012 and should submit at the time of verification of the certificates. 
4.  If, on further verification it is found that any candidate is not eligible with reference to the particulars furnished by him/her in the Application Form / Certificates, the candidature of such candidate / candidates shall be cancelled at any stage in the process of selection.
