Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Data Entry Operator: 1006 Posts, Lower Division Clerk: 991 Posts has recently issued a notification for the commencement of an All India Open Competitive Examination, i.e also referred as Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2014 to recruit the candidates for Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk posts. Lots of candidates are waiting for SSC LDC DEO Recruitment notification, as we see that notification is out.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed 12th Class Examination or equivalent Examination from a recognized Board or University.

Age limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years but not crossed the age of 27 years as on 01.08.2014. Candidates must have not born before 02.08.1987 and not later than 01.08.1996. Relaxation in upper limit is applicable as per govt norms.

Selection Process :
1. For Data Entry Operator post : Written Examination and Skill Test.
2. For Lower Division Clerk post : Written Test and Typing Test.

Application Fee :
1. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100 as Application fee.
2. No fee for SC/ST/Physically handicapped/women/Ex-Servicemen Candidates.

How to Apply : Candidates have the 2 option for applying to the LDC, DEO post i.e they can apply through Online or Offline mode.

1. For Online submission : Candidates are required to fill Online Application form through Official website of SSC Online, i.e www.ssconline.nic.in . Online Registration form will be filled up to 14th August, 2014.

2. For Offline submission : Candidates are required to download the application form through the link given below, then take print out and fill the form with all relevant details and then send it to concerned Regional Office/Sub Regional Offices of the Commission as mentioned in the notification.

Eligibility:
Graduates in any science, agriculture, veterinary, medicine, pharmacy, engineering and technology are eligible to appear for the examination. They need not have any formal training, diploma or certificate in bioinformatics.

Graduate and above degrees in Science, Agriculture, Veterinary, Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology are eligible to appear in the examination. They need not have any formal training viz., certificate, diploma or degree in Bioinformatics. Students in final year of Bachelor & Post graduate degree are also eligible to apply. International students are also eligible to apply.

Application and Syllabus:
The online application can be filled from November 10, 2012 to February 2, 2013. The syllabus is approved by the National Advisory Committee and is available on BINC webpage. The syllabus comprises of five sections: Bioinformatics, Biology, Physical & Chemical Sciences, Mathematics & Statistics and Information Technology.

Examination:
The examination fee is Rs. 600/- for candidates from Open category and Rs. 450/- for Reserved category candidates (as per Government of India rule). The examination is scheduled for February 23-24, 2013. The Paper I will be of objective type. The Paper II will be of short answer type, while the Paper III will be a computer-based practical. Research Fellowships will be awarded for all successful candidates, those who are interested and qualified in pursuing a Ph.D. program in India. In addition, ten cash prizes will be awarded, for the top ten successful candidates.

Candidates are requested to read carefully the detailed Notification and Instructions for UGC-NET to be held on 30th December, 2012 available on UGC website: www.ugcnetonline.in and www.ugc.ac.in. 

Specimen copy of OMR Sheets of Paper-I & II (Together) and Paper-III for the 30th December, 2012 Examination.

The examination hall/room shall be opened 30 minutes before the time specified for the commencement of the examination (i.e. 30th December,2012, “SUNDAY”). No candidate who is late by more than 20 minutes, shall be admitted to the examination.

No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall/room until 11.30 a.m. in the 1st session and 3.00 p.m. in the second session of the examination. No candidate shall be permitted to go to the toilet during the last 20 minutes of the examination in each session.

A seat marked with a roll number shall be allotted to each candidate. The candidates shall be required to find out and occupy the seats allotted to them by 9.00 a.m.

No candidate shall be allowed to leave his/her seat or the examination hall/room until 11.30 a.m. in the 1st session and 3.00 p.m. in 2nd Session. The candidate should not tamper the seal of the Test Booklets before 9.30 a.m. in 1st session and 1.30 P.M. in 2nd session.

Before beginning to answer the paper, the candidate should write his/her roll number in the space provided in the Test Booklet and OMR Sheet. The candidate should read carefully the instructions appearing on the Test Booklet & OMR Sheet and check that the Test Booklet &OMR Sheet supplied to him/her is not defective and if so, may secure another copy from the Invigilator in lieu of the first one. The Test Booklet should be checked with reference to page numbers, serial number of the questions, code number and the subject offered by the candidate.

If a candidate writes his/her Mobile number or puts any special mark at any place in the OMR Sheet which may disclose, in any way, the identity of the candidate, he/she will render himself/herself liable to disqualification, under unfair means rule.

Each candidate is required to bring his/her own ball point pen, ink pen, pencil, eraser and ink. The use of calculators & Log Tables is not permitted. Any electronic devices including Cellular, Mobile, Satellite Phone, Pager etc. are not allowed in Examination Hall/Room under any circumstances.

The time allotted for each paper includes time required to read instructions appearing on the Test Booklet and OMR Sheet for filling entries at the appropriate places. No extra time will be provided.

The schedule for ringing of the bell is as follows:-
(i) 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
(ii) At the commencement of the examination.
(iii) Fifteen minutes before the conclusion of the Paper I, II & III.
(iv) At the end of the each paper.

The candidate shall have to return the original OMR Sheet of Paper I & II together and Paper-III to the Invigilator before leaving the examination hall/room. However, candidates are allowed to carry the used Test Booklets of paper-I, II & III alongwith carbon less copy of OMR Sheet on conclusion of examination.

Smoking and taking tea/refreshment etc., by the candidates in the examination hall/room is strictly prohibited.

Any candidate found guilty of using unfair means of any nature in the examination hall/room shall be liable to be disqualified for future NET/SET.

Candidate who does not appear in Paper-I will not be permitted to appear in Paper-II and Paper-III.

Paper-I :- Sixty (60) multiple choice questions of two marks each will be given, out of which the candidate would be required to answer any fifty (50). In the event of the candidate attempting more than fifty questions, the first fifty questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated.

Candidates are requested to read carefully the detailed Notification and Instructions for UGC-NET to be held on 30th December, 2012 available on UGC website: www.ugcnetonline.in and www.ugc.ac.in.

The examination hall/room shall be opened 30 minutes before the time specified for the commencement of the examination (i.e. 30th December,2012, “SUNDAY”). No candidate who is late by more than 20 minutes, shall be admitted to the examination.

No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall/room until 11.30 a.m. in the 1st session and 3.00 p.m. in the second session of the examination. No candidate shall be permitted to go to the toilet during the last 20 minutes of the examination in each session.

A seat marked with a roll number shall be allotted to each candidate. The candidates shall be required to find out and occupy the seats allotted to them by 9.00 a.m.

No candidate shall be allowed to leave his/her seat or the examination hall/room until 11.30 a.m. in the 1st session and 3.00 p.m. in 2nd Session. The candidate should not tamper the seal of the Test Booklets before 9.30 a.m. in 1st session and 1.30 P.M. in 2nd session.

Before beginning to answer the paper, the candidate should write his/her roll number in the space provided in the Test Booklet and OMR Sheet. The candidate should read carefully the instructions appearing on the Test Booklet & OMR Sheet and check that the Test Booklet &OMR Sheet supplied to him/her is not defective and if so, may secure another copy from the Invigilator in lieu of the first one. The Test Booklet should be checked with reference to page numbers, serial number of the questions, code number and the subject offered by the candidate.

If a candidate writes his/her Mobile number or puts any special mark at any place in the OMR Sheet which may disclose, in any way, the identity of the candidate, he/she will render himself/herself liable to disqualification, under unfair means rule.

Each candidate is required to bring his/her own ball point pen, ink pen, pencil, eraser and ink. The use of calculators & Log Tables is not permitted. Any electronic devices including Cellular, Mobile, Satellite Phone, Pager etc. are not allowed in Examination Hall/Room under any circumstances.

The time allotted for each paper includes time required to read instructions appearing on the Test Booklet and OMR Sheet for filling entries at the appropriate places. No extra time will be provided.

The schedule for ringing of the bell is as follows:-
(i) 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
(ii) At the commencement of the examination.
(iii) Fifteen minutes before the conclusion of the Paper I, II & III.
(iv) At the end of the each paper.

The candidate shall have to return the original OMR Sheet of Paper I & II together and Paper-III to the Invigilator before leaving the examination hall/room. However, candidates are allowed to carry the used Test Booklets of paper-I, II & III alongwith carbon less copy of OMR Sheet on conclusion of examination.

Smoking and taking tea/refreshment etc., by the candidates in the examination hall/room is strictly prohibited.

Any candidate found guilty of using unfair means of any nature in the examination hall/room shall be liable to be disqualified for future NET/SET.


Candidate who does not appear in Paper-I will not be permitted to appear in Paper-II and Paper-III.

Paper-I :- Sixty (60) multiple choice questions of two marks each will be given, out of which the candidate would be required to answer any fifty (50). In the event of the candidate attempting more than fifty questions, the first fifty questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated
