BRAOU- Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad gives admissions to the candidates into Under-Graduate Programmes through 2 streams. First one through Formal Stream – Candidates who passed Intermediate from BIEAP or through National Open School or Equivalent can take direct admission into UG programmes. In the second Non-Formal Stream Candidates without any of the formal educational qualifications mentioned above, but completed 18 years of age as on 01.07.2013 are eligible to appear for Eligibility Test (ET) conducted by the BRAOU. Online applications are invited for Eligibility Test for admission into BA, B.Com and B.Sc for 2013 academic year.
Who is eligible to appear Ambedkar Open University Eligibility Test 2013?
The Candidates who completed 18 years of age as on 01.07.2013 and do not possess Intermediate or its Equivalent Qualification are eligible to appear for the Eligibility Test for seeking admission into the I Year of the B.A, B.Com, B.Sc. 3 year degree programmes) for the Academic Year 2013-14.

How to apply or register for Ambedkar Open University eligibility test 2013:
From the Academic Year 2013-14, Candidates who wish to appear for Eligibility Test shall register “On-Line” through AP ONLINE franchise centers. Choose the nearest or comfortable Study/Examination Center where you want to appear for ET Collect the BRAOU Information Brochure ET-2013 (Free of Cost) either from Study Center or from the AP On-Line Franchise Center and read it carefully.

Approach nearby A.P. On-Line Franchise Center with all the documents required, along with a latest passport size photo. Give the information to the operator of the Franchise Center to fill your BRAOU ET-2013 Registration form Online, and to upload photo and signature.

Application fee to Ambedkar Open University eligibility test 2013
Pay Rs. 235/- (Rupees two hundred and thirty five only) at the Franchise Center towards Registration Fee and obtain receipt. Collect a print out of Registration Form from the Franchise Center and keep it for your reference.

Exam Medium and Exam center of Open University eligibility test 2013: Test will be conducted in ENGLISH, TELUGU AND URDU mediums at all the Study Centers of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, located in the Twin Cities of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and in All the Districts of Andhra Pradesh.

2nd Session (Paper III) -                            1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Candidates are requested to read carefully the detailed Notification and Instructions for UGC-NET to be held on 30th December, 2012 available on UGC website: www.ugcnetonline.in and www.ugc.ac.in.

Specimen copy of OMR Sheets of Paper-I & II (Together) and Paper-III for the 30th December, 2012 Examination.

The examination hall/room shall be opened 30 minutes before the time specified for the commencement of the examination (i.e. 30th December,2012, “SUNDAY”). No candidate who is late by more than 20 minutes, shall be admitted to the examination.

No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall/room until 11.30 a.m. in the 1st session and 3.00 p.m. in the second session of the examination. No candidate shall be permitted to go to the toilet during the last 20 minutes of the examination in each session.

A seat marked with a roll number shall be allotted to each candidate. The candidates shall be required to find out and occupy the seats allotted to them by 9.00 a.m.

No candidate shall be allowed to leave his/her seat or the examination hall/room until 11.30 a.m. in the 1st session and 3.00 p.m. in 2nd Session. The candidate should not tamper the seal of the Test Booklets before 9.30 a.m. in 1st session and 1.30 P.M. in 2nd session.

Before beginning to answer the paper, the candidate should write his/her roll number in the space provided in the Test Booklet and OMR Sheet. The candidate should read carefully the instructions appearing on the Test Booklet & OMR Sheet and check that the Test Booklet &OMR Sheet supplied to him/her is not defective and if so, may secure another copy from the Invigilator in lieu of the first one. The Test Booklet should be checked with reference to page numbers, serial number of the questions, code number and the subject offered by the candidate.

If a candidate writes his/her Mobile number or puts any special mark at any place in the OMR Sheet which may disclose, in any way, the identity of the candidate, he/she will render himself/herself liable to disqualification, under unfair means rule.

Each candidate is required to bring his/her own ball point pen, ink pen, pencil, eraser and ink. The use of calculators & Log Tables is not permitted. Any electronic devices including Cellular, Mobile, Satellite Phone, Pager etc. are not allowed in Examination Hall/Room under any circumstances.

The time allotted for each paper includes time required to read instructions appearing on the Test Booklet and OMR Sheet for filling entries at the appropriate places. No extra time will be provided.

The schedule for ringing of the bell is as follows:-
(i) 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
(ii) At the commencement of the examination.
(iii) Fifteen minutes before the conclusion of the Paper I, II & III.
(iv) At the end of the each paper.

The candidate shall have to return the original OMR Sheet of Paper I & II together and Paper-III to the Invigilator before leaving the examination hall/room. However, candidates are allowed to carry the used Test Booklets of paper-I, II & III alongwith carbon less copy of OMR Sheet on conclusion of examination.

Smoking and taking tea/refreshment etc., by the candidates in the examination hall/room is strictly prohibited.

Any candidate found guilty of using unfair means of any nature in the examination hall/room shall be liable to be disqualified for future NET/SET.


Candidate who does not appear in Paper-I will not be permitted to appear in Paper-II and Paper-III.

Paper-I :- Sixty (60) multiple choice questions of two marks each will be given, out of which the candidate would be required to answer any fifty (50). In the event of the candidate attempting more than fifty questions, the first fifty questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated
