The Indian Air Force Rally (IAF) has invited applications for recruitment for its Group Y posts. The Indian Air Force was established on October 8, 1932. Its first AC flight came into being on April 1, 1933. It possessed a strength of six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (literally, air soldiers). The aircraft inventory comprised of four Westland Wapiti IIA Army co-operation biplanes at Drigh Road as the ''A'' flight nucleus of the planned No.1 (Army Co-operation) squadron.

Pay Scale: The selected candidates would be getting a stipend of Rs 11400 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Maximum 21 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed their Class XII or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised board or equivalent institute with 50 per cent aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English subject.

Selection Procedure: The selection process will be on the basis of certificate verification, physical test, written test, interview and medical test.

How to apply: Interested candidates have to go to the venue with required certificates for verification on September 21, 2014 to September 23, 2014.

Eligibility Conditions :

Educational Qualification : 
1. For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Candidates should possess Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
2. For Ward of Battle Causalities of Army Personnel: Candidates must possess Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.

Age Limit : Candidates should have attained the age of 19 years but not crossed the age of 25 years i.e born not earlier than 02-01-1990 and not later than 01-01-1996.

Mode of Selection : Selection will be based on the candidates performance in Psychological Test, Medical Exam, Interview.

Pay Scale & Allowances : Rs. 21,000/- Per month (Rs 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-).
