Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification :  SC/ST Candidates should be  10th Class (Matriculation )  pass out  and All other category candidates should be Intermediate or equivalent Exam pass outs  .

Age Limit : Candidates age must be between 18 yrs to 30 yrs as on 1st July, 2012.
Application Fee : candidates need to pay Rs. 25/-.

Required  Physical Standard for Men :
Height : 167.6 cm
Chest : 86.3 with expansion of 5 cm

Required Physical Standard for women :
Height: 152.5cm
Weight: 40kgs

State level police recruitment board on 31-12-2012 invited Applications from the eligible candidates for limited recruitment to the following posts.

Application forms: Candidates must apply in the Application Form devised by the Board for the examination, which can be downloaded from website www.apstatepolice.org in the recruitment folder and we also give download links below in this post.

Last Date For Receipt Of Applications: Eligible candidates should submit the duly filled in application form along with the copies of the necessary certificates at any of the places mentioned below on any working day from 21-01-2013 to 20-02-2013 in between 10.00 hours and 14.00 hours.

AP Police Recruitment eligibility and selection process: 

Minimum Educational Qualification to AP Police Constable Recruitment: The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2012, 

Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government. In the case of 

 

a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2012, he 

must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government and 

 

should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examinations in both the 

 

1st year and 2nd year.

Stage I : Preliminary Selection Test: Male candidates will have to run five (5) kms. within 25 minutes. Female candidates will have to run 2.5 kms within 16 minutes.

Stage II : Physical Efficient Test: Male candidates will have to participate five (5) events i.e., 100 mtrs. run, long jump, shot put, high jump and 800 mtrs. run. Female candidates will have to participate three (3) events i.e., 100 mtrs. run, long jump and shot put. All candidates hereby advised to get themselves examined by physician and satisfy themselves that they are fit enough to participate in stage I and stage II of the selection process.

Stage III : Written examination: Questions will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages. Candidates will have to answer the questions on an OMR.
