State level police recruitment board on 31-12-2012 invited Applications from the eligible candidates for limited recruitment to the following posts.

Application forms: Candidates must apply in the Application Form devised by the Board for the examination, which can be downloaded from website www.apstatepolice.org in the recruitment folder and we also give download links below in this post.

Last Date For Receipt Of Applications: Eligible candidates should submit the duly filled in application form along with the copies of the necessary certificates at any of the places mentioned below on any working day from 21-01-2013 to 20-02-2013 in between 10.00 hours and 14.00 hours.

AP Police Recruitment eligibility and selection process: 
Minimum Educational Qualification to AP Police Constable Recruitment: The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2012, 
Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government. In the case of 
 
a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2012, he 
must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government and 
 
should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examinations in both the 
 
1st year and 2nd year.

Stage I : Preliminary Selection Test: Male candidates will have to run five (5) kms. within 25 minutes. Female candidates will have to run 2.5 kms within 16 minutes.

Stage II : Physical Efficient Test: Male candidates will have to participate five (5) events i.e., 100 mtrs. run, long jump, shot put, high jump and 800 mtrs. run. Female candidates will have to participate three (3) events i.e., 100 mtrs. run, long jump and shot put. All candidates hereby advised to get themselves examined by physician and satisfy themselves that they are fit enough to participate in stage I and stage II of the selection process.

Stage III : Written examination: Questions will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages. Candidates will have to answer the questions on an OMR.

It is hereby notified that on the basis of the results of the Written Examination held on 19/08/2012 and Verification of Certificates held on 14/12/2012 for Direct Recruitment (General) to the posts of  SENIOR REPORTERS (GAZETTED) IN A.P. POLICE INTELLIGENCE SERVICE, NOTIFICATION NO.04/2012,  the candidates whose Register Numbers are given below have been provisionally selected for appointment to the post of Senior Reporters (Gazetted) in A.P. Police Intelligence Service Notification no.04/2012 subject to the following conditions. 
1)  That success in the Examination confers no right to appointment unless the appointing authority is satisfied after such enquiry as may be considered necessary that the candidate having regard to his / her character and antecedents are suitable in all respects for appointment to the service. 
2)  That the candidate should produce such original certificates as may be required in accordance with the Rules / Notification

If it comes to the notice of the Commission later that any candidate furnished false information or the selection is not in order due to any act of omission or Commission of any candidate then his / her provisional selection is liable to be cancelled at any stage and he / she will forfeit all consequential benefits including that of selection, besides the Commission reserves the right to take any action as it deems fit in the circumstances of the case, in terms of the various enabling provisions as notified in Notification No.04/2012. 
With this Notification, the Recruitment process notified vide Notification No.04/2012 for the post of Senior Reporters (Gazetted) in A.P. Police Intelligence Service has been finally concluded and the same is here by notified to all concerned.
