JEE Main 2017: Result available on 27th April 2017 at jeemain.nic.in cbseresults.nic.in

JEE Rank Card JEE MAIN Cut Off : More than 10 lakh students appeared for the JEE Main 2017 examination from over 2000 centres in 109 cities in India and abroad April 2,8 and 9.

The entrance examination is held for admission to Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and National Institute of Technology (NIITs). Earlier the answer keys and OMR response sheets for the 2017 exam was published on the JEE main website.

The JEE Main Paper 2 Result will be declared by CBSE and will be the primary parameter for admission to engineering colleges across India including IITs and NITs. The JEE Main Result is being declared on time to ensure that engineering colleges across India have enough time to complete the admission formalities. Even last year, the board had released the results on April 27.

Enter your roll number/ registration number in the space provided
Click to submit
Results will be displayed

Note: 
1. The scores that will be released will comprise of marks obtained in Paper 1 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced)
2. Further, the rank shall comprise All India Rank (AIR) and All India category rank
3. Also, candidates score or rank card will be not be sent to them personally

Latest developments in JEE:
With more than 1.3 million take JEE Main examination, only 2 lakh students qualify for the JEE Advanced test. A proposal to conduct JEE Advanced test through mobile phones was tabled in a recent meeting of the Joint Admission Board (JAB).

Here's how merit among candidates obtaining equal marks will be decided:
  1. Rank list for admission to BE/BTech (in institutions other than IITs)
  2. Resolution by marks obtained in mathematics in JEE (Main) 2017-- candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank
  3. Resolution by marks obtained in physics in the JEE (Main) 2017-- candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank
  4. Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks-- candidate with a higher absolute value of the ratio will be given better rank.
Selection procedure:
All those candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam round. On the basis of these two written exams, students will be allotted colleges.

Expected cut off:

Paper: I is for BE/BTech courses

Paper: II is for BArch/BPlanning

Overall difficulty level for paper was between easy to moderate. A student who has been focused and serious all through the two years in improving speed and accuracy by taking regular quizzes and mock tests on JEEM pattern, must have done reasonably well. It is always relative performance, which matters in such competitive examinations

Cut-off for CML (Common Merit List) in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 was 113,115,105,100 respectively.


Cut-off this year is going to be high around 115.

Admission through centralised allocation process in NIT's / IIIT's / DTU / CFTI's for over 24000 seats in undergraduate courses will be according to merit list based on marks in JEE Main examination; however, the candidate must be in top twenty percentile of respective board or should score minimum 75 per cent marks in his/her board examination. Further, a total of 9 states (Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland, Gujarat, M.R., M.P., Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan) will also accept JEEM ranks to fill seats through their own seat allocation process.
